Mood Journal

A reflective journaling plugin for conversational AI, designed to support thoughtful check-ins and continuity across sessions. It combines guided reflection, historical journal imports, future discussion topics, and source-grounded summaries for conversations with a clinician. The design emphasizes preserving the user’s own words, verifying saved records, and adapting to the storage capabilities available in the host environment.

Moonlight Appliance

A project that turns a small Linux PC into a controller-operated Moonlight game-streaming appliance while retaining a usable desktop. It adds controller-driven mouse input, a custom on-screen keyboard, application switching, and Moonlight launch controls. The desktop controls step aside when Moonlight is running so the gamepad remains available for streaming.

QNAP Docker mDNS

A service that makes Docker applications on a QNAP NAS easier to discover and access across a local network. It watches container activity, configures QNAP’s built-in reverse proxy, and publishes readable .local hostnames based on Docker labels. Automatic cleanup, configuration backups, and collision detection help keep the network configuration consistent as containers start and stop.

OvrEdit for Renegade BBS

A shareware utility I developed in QuickBASIC in 1995 to customize the text displayed by Renegade bulletin board systems. OvrEdit provided an editor for Renegade’s overlay files, giving system operators a way to personalize their BBS. The original code is preserved in my ancient repository as an archive of my early software development. It was cracked by Razor 1911 within days. Give me a break, I was 15!

IDEAS INTO THE WILD / 01–03

A home on the web.

This very site.

A place for a quick introduction, the work I’ve done, and the things I’m building. A portfolio that gets to be part of its own portfolio. Nicely recursive.
